Senior Consultant
High Point, NCBe a part of our expanding team
Farr Associates is a multi-service human resources consulting firm seeking a consultant to provide service delivery of our offerings from our High Point, NC office.
Primary responsibilities:
- Delivery of our offerings including leadership development workshops, individual leadership assessments and coaching, organizational assessments, and interventions
- Design and Report writing
- Management of complex clients and projects
- Other projects as assigned
- Travel is required
Successful candidates will have:
- Masters or PhD in I/O psychology (preferred), Clinical psychology, Counseling psychology, or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience in an applied business setting
- Experience in organizational assessment design, organizational intervention design, and organizational intervention applications is preferred
- Experience in behavioral assessment, test interpretation, coaching, facilitation, and design would be helpful
- Strong ability to communicate with business executives, both written and orally
We are looking for a seasoned, results-oriented consultant with superior skills in project management, written and oral communication, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Intern - Leadership, Executive and Organizational Development
Farr Associates, Inc. has internship positions for I/O Master's or Ph.D. level students wishing to partner with us to design and conduct research on leadership, executive development and organizational development consulting. The position is unpaid but provides valuable experience for students wishing to learn about executive coaching and consulting in a leadership arena.
We are open to discussing the possibility of providing thesis or dissertation data for students wishing to conduct research within our firm provided that the topic is relevant to our business needs. May be willing to work remotely with students who are not located in or around the High Point/Greensboro area.
Farr Associates Senior Sales Officer
Primary Purpose:
Generate sales in the firm's major lines of business: Leadership Development, Organizational Effectiveness, and Executive Coaching.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other Duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
- Follow up on leads provided by Marketing in a timely manner and update the CRM System Daily as to activity.
- Follow the Farr Associates Sales process and close business to meet Quotas and Goals.
- Using the firm's existing business clients, generate prospects which coincide with existing client base, and generate referrals from this base. Create a calling plan to take advantage of travel efficiencies. Travel 60% of the time.
- Make a minimum number of sales contacts per month, not including BB&T relationship development calls, in market area to generate new prospects outside of BB&T referrals.
- Develop strong relationships with BB&T City Executives, Business Services Officers and other business development professionals in the BB&T system for referrals, joint calls and closed sales.
- Complete regular administrative requirements, such as call reports, activity reports, proposals, etc. Attend monthly sales meetings and other meetings as necessary.
- Meet monthly sales goals as determined by Sales and Marketing Manager.
- Work closely with consultants to make appropriate client/consultant matches. Partner with consultants to accurately define customer needs.
- Develop sales-appropriate expertise in the business of the firm.
- Identify marketing opportunities and communicate to Marketing Manager.
- Responsible for other duties as assigned by management.

- Ten years of proven success in sales and/or human resources
- Strong sales personality profile

- High customer-focus with excellent follow-up skills
- Must be able to travel as required
